Day 1: Gulmarg Gondola

The Gulmarg Gondola stands as one of Gulmarg's prime attractions, renowned as the second longest and second highest cable car globally. Split into two phases, it transports around 600 individuals per hour to and from the Apharwat Mountain, the hub of winter sports in Gulmarg.

Phase 1 of the Gulmarg Gondola shuttles passengers from Gulmarg Resort to Kongdoori Station, marking the middle point. Starting at 2,990 meters and ascending 400 meters vertically, it carries 1,500 people hourly to a height of 3,100 meters, granting access to numerous easy skiing routes. Phase 2 links Kongdoori Mountain to Apharwat Peak, ascending 1,330 vertical meters to nearly 4,000 meters, with a capacity of 600 passengers per hour.
